Honk For Palestine

How bothering it is to the human eye,
That no one seems to know the truth
Would you consider this as a lie
If I showed you the power of youth

Can I tell you something just between you and me?
How can you call children terrorists, when they just want to be free
Would you take your time and look at the sorrow in the people’s eyes
What do you see?
Do you see Terrorists? Or people who wants to be Free?

Walk away from the lies and open your eyes
Turn away from the lies before more people dies
The numbers of death are increasing day by day
However I must say
That Our Ummah will never fade away.

Last night was the worst night by far

Please read and help share this with the world. Words you wouldn’t usually read.
By Khalid Elmezaini from Gaza.

“Last night was the worst night by far. Around 1 am the bombing was so intense that we decided to huddle together as a family in the living room away from the windows. Then a huge blast, so powerful it felt like the building was going to collapse. We hear screaming from the floor above us. We rush to the door, there is a woman carrying her 3 children running downstairs, “they hit our apartment” she screamed repeatedly. Was this a roof knock? Was her apartment really hit? Myself and 2 more ran upstairs to see, all we can see is smoke in her apartment, the bedrooms where her children sleep have smashed walls, a missile has hit her home. We couldn’t take chances. With the cloths on our backs we all ran downstairs to the ground floor. Do we leave? Where do we go? There is no place to go. And if we make a run for it they will target us, they always target moving groups. We decided that the 23 families should stay on the ground floor near the stairs. The children were crying, so were their mothers, it was chaotic. Then an even bigger bomb, louder than the first, the whole building shook, rubble flying onto our building, windows and glass smashing everywhere. We took our Shahada, we were convinced this is our last night, that we wouldn’t make it. The bombing was intense, everywhere, north, south, east, west, it was random, every minute non-stop, we were just waiting our turn, like cattle for slaughter. 4 hours passed, non-stop shelling, then we can hear them coming, by their sound, the F16 fighter jets have arrived. By the time we made that realization, an explosion so powerful dropped us to the ground, rubble and smoke flew in, then quickly another closer one, then a third one a little further. All we could see are huge fire balls in the sky, light almost turning around corners. Moments later, a funny smell, we ran for any wet cloth, water on shirt and over the face will do. Time has passed, it was quiet for an hour. Was it over? The sun is now up, and we were happy to see it. We knew the Zionist don’t hit as hard in day light as they do at night, where the cameras can’t capture the full-scale of the destruction. We decided to go back to the lower level apartments, we were tired, we huddled and slept close to the door when deep down we knew that just like there is no where safe in Gaza, no place in our house is safer than any other.
Every house was hit, every building, every mosque, they have no targets, they do not know what they are doing.
This isn’t a fictional story, this is how we spent last night. And if the Zionist think that this will scare us into submission, they need to think again, we only submit to Allah, we will never give up, we live and die with dignity and honour.”

Don’t tell me that this isn’t a crime,

How disturbing it is to the humankind,

War has its fairness, but this is genocide,

But the martyrs will have their reward in Paradise

Yes, you might have the power to destroy anything you like,

And the power to throw an airstrike,

However, I must say,

That soon it will be a glorifying day

The Heroes will win and the cowards will lose,

Finally it will be the end of terror and abuse.

Oh, You coward, when will you get it?

You can never destroy a place that is protected.

They will never give up without a fight,

All day and all night.

In the moment of decree,

Palestine Will Be Free!

The fact that people are turning the blind eye,

Don’t wanna hear the sound of a child cry,

Pain can be seen within a child’s eyes, but no one seems to look,

Does the heart hurt, when people are speaking the truth?

Then obviously something is wrong with you.

When you hear a child crying in pain,

Do you feel sadness or do you feel inhumane?

Does it make you powerful to kill?

Then you must be completely be ill.

Is there any deference between you and me?

Tell the world why your turning the blind eye,

Like a coward hiding behind a lie,

And the people who’s being oppressed will tell you one thing;

”Look into my eyes!”

Like a coward you refuse to see the truth

Here’s an advise

Don’t underestimate the power of youth who knows the truth

Nor underestimate the people of wisdom,

Trust me, they all know the truth.

With that being said I hope the liars understand,

That soon the truth will rise and the righteous people will take back their land!

No lie can make you a winner,

Unless you want to be known as a failure.

The fact that people are turning the blind eye,

Don’t wanna hear the sound of a child cry,

Pain can be seen within a child’s eyes, but no one seems to look,

Does the heart hurt, when people are speaking the truth?

Then obviously something is wrong with you.

Can I ask you something, is it fun?

To threat a child with a gun?

Do you feel powerful? I hope not,

How would you feel if your child was shot?

Is there any deference between you and me?

Would you mind look up to the sky,

and tell me what you see?

We both know we live on the same Earth,

However, we both see the world differently.

Has there ever been a time where you feel ashamed

Telling the world a lie about a boy hit a soldier,

But the truth is it was his self-defence

unbelievably, he was blamed.

The fact that people are turning the blind eye,

Don’t wanna hear the sound of a child cry,

Pain can be seen within a child’s eyes, but no one seems to look,

Does the heart hurt, when people are speaking the truth?

Then obviously something is wrong with you.

Would you mind look at the child’s eye,

and tell me what you see?

Do you see a threat or do you see a kid who wants to be free?

Does it seem fun to kill?

Tell me what’s on your mind,

How come can a child be a threat to the humankind.

Does it gives you strength and power

Knowing killing innocent people is inhuman,

We all know that humanity is part of being a human,

However, not everyone actually agree

The numbers of martyrs are increasing day by day,

Enough is enough! We can’t stand that way!

Give back their freedom so might feel peace,

Stop the bombing so they might feel at ease.

The fact that people are turning the blind eye,

Don’t wanna hear the sound of a child cry,

Pain can be seen within a child’s eyes, but no one seems to look,

Does the heart hurt, when people are speaking the truth?

Then obviously something is wrong with you.

The Spirit of Gaza will never fall apart and torn,

Because Gaza is the place where Heroes are born.

”Between fear and hope there is faith”

”The long years of prison,

the long years of oppression,

the long years of torture,

the long years of inhuman actions,

yet we’re still alive.

Indeed we’re still alive,

the colors green, red, black and of our flag shall represent who we are,

A man, a woman, a boy and a girl

they all have only one dream

to be free from the war criminals

That is all they want,  their Freedom”

”All your armies, all your fighters.
All your tanks, and all your soldiers,
against a boy, holding a stone,
In his eyes I see the sun,
In his smile I see the moon,
And I wonder, I only wonder,
who is weak, and who is strong?
who is right, and who is wrong?
And I wish, I only wish,
that the truth had a tongue.”

– A child from Gaza

The Wise and the Blind

This poem is dedicated to the people in Gaza.
May Allah protect you In Sha Allah. #Free Palestine

Hallo, are you there?
Yes, I am here.
Where are you?
What do you mean?
We’ve been waiting for help for almost 66 years.
Wait.. What?
Why aren’t you coming?
Coming?… Where?
A place where we have been Locked up like a prison in 66 years.

What place?
A place where people don’t have contact with the outside world.

What place?
A place where killing the innocent people is a playground.

What place?
A place where injustice becomes law and resistance becomes a duty.

What place?
A place only a truthful person and a human can tell.

What place?
A place that is far stronger than you could ever imagine.

What place?!
A place where people don’t die for nothing,
A place where there’s no fear of dying,
A place where nothing is impossible!

What place?!?!
A place where Heroes are made and not destroyed.
A place not like any other,
A place where our Freedom will be conquered.
We are the Freedom fighters from Gaza, a place not like any other.

A conversation between the wise and the blind.
