Story of two best friends

There were two young men named Mohammed and Ali. They were best friends.
One day Ali went to Mohammed and asked for money. Mohammed gave him all the money he had. Ali opened a restaurant, and he earned a lot of money as the years passed by. A while later Ali went to Mohammed again, because Ali wants Mohammed’s wife. Mohammed was an excessive kind friend. His priority was his friend Ali, and not himself. He said yes, and Ali married Mohammed’s wife.
The years went by and Mohammed was determined and went to Alis restaurant to get a job. However Ali declined, and told him he couldn’t work here. Mohammed left the place immediately. Next day an old and ill man came to Mohammed and asked if he couldn’t buy some medicine and take care of him, because he really needed it. Mohammed helped the old man as much as he could. He let him sleep at his house and gave him food. Despite Mohammed’s mercy for the man, the old man’s life ended. It turned out that the old man was rich, so Mohammed got everything that the old man owned.
A month later a poor woman came and knocked at his door, and asked if he could give her something to eat. Mohammed let her stay at his home, and gave her food. The poor woman asked Mohammed why he wasn’t married. He answered that he didn’t find the right person yet. He avoided talking about Ali. The poor woman said that she knew a girl, whom he could marry. Mohammed arranged a wedding, and invited his old best friend, Ali.
Mohammed held a speech during his wedding, he said: ”I once had a best friend. He came and asked for money, and I gave it to him. He came and took my wife from me, and I let him do that. However, when I asked to work at his restaurant, he declined.”
Afterwards, Ali went up and held a speech: ”I once had a best friend. I asked him for money, and he gave it to me. I took his wife, because she repeatedly was unfaithful to him, and I did not have a good way to tell him that. I declined, when he came and asked to work with me, because I didn’t want him to work for me. Therefore, I sent him my ill father, so he could get his inheritance. I sent my mother, so she could give him a wife. And the woman you are married to, is my sister”.

People like Ben Affleck really deserve a big salvo for their honesty. On the other hand, people like Bill Maher need som education. The fact that Maher don’t even take a minute and use it to really look into Islam through the Quran and the Teachings of The Prophet (pbuh), but instead of using the media (these so-called facts) that only show muslims as terrorists just sickens me. His ”knowledge” of Islam just shows his lack of humility, wisdom and most importantly honesty.  He’s clearly blinded by his ignorance.

Ben Affleck did a great job defending Islam, but the debate would’ve actually been better if they invited a young Muslim woman or a man who knows what’s is a fact and what’s not. The debate would make more sense since they were talking about Islam.

Islam does not promote terrorism

It saddens me that there are still people who think that ISIS represents Islam.. Islam is a peaceful religion. It is a mercy to mankind, so how in earth can anyone compare it to ISIS? Well… That’s an easy question. Those who think that Islam is a religion of terrorism, knows nothing about Islam.
“Fight in the way of Allah those who *fight you* but do *not* transgress. Indeed. Allah does *not* like transgressors.” (Quran 2:190)
This one verse really shows that it is allowed in Islam to defend yourself, but you’re not allowed to transgress or violate others, because Allah doesn’t like it. Like we just said. Islam doesn’t promote terrorism, but it allows you to fight back if you have to.
Oh, and one more thing.. For all the people who still thinks that ISIS, the ”Islamic State” is following the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) here’s is an open letter from more than 120 islamic scholars to the Leader of ISIS Al-Baghdadi.
But first try to look at the Executive Summary
1. It is forbidden in Islam to issue fatwas without all the necessary learning requirements. Even then fatwas must follow Islamic legal theory as defined in the Classical texts. It is also forbidden to cite a portion of a verse from the Qur’an—or part of a verse—to derive a ruling without looking at everything that the Qur’an and Hadith teach related to that matter. In other words, there are strict subjective and objective prerequisites for fatwas, and one cannot ‘cherry-pick’ Qur’anic verses for legal arguments without considering the entire Qur’an and Hadith.2. It is forbidden in Islam to issue legal rulings about anything without mastery of the Arabic language.

3. It is forbidden in Islam to oversimplify Shari’ah matters and ignore established Islamic sciences.

4. It is permissible in Islam [for scholars] to differ on any matter, except those fundamentals of religion that all Muslims must know.

5. It is forbidden in Islam to ignore the reality of contemporary times when deriving legal rulings.

6. It is forbidden in Islam to kill the innocent.

7. It is forbidden in Islam to kill emissaries, ambassadors, and diplomats; hence it is forbidden to kill journalists and aid workers.

8. Jihad in Islam is defensive war. It is not permissible without the right cause, the right purpose and without the right rules of conduct.

9. It is forbidden in Islam to declare people non-Muslim unless he (or she) openly declares disbelief.

10. It is forbidden in Islam to harm or mistreat—in any way—Christians or any ‘People of the Scripture’.

11. It is obligatory to consider Yazidis as People of the Scripture.

12. The re-introduction of slavery is forbidden in Islam. It was abolished by universal consensus.

13. It is forbidden in Islam to force people to convert.

14. It is forbidden in Islam to deny women their rights.

15. It is forbidden in Islam to deny children their rights.

18. It is forbidden in Islam to disfigure the dead.

19. It is forbidden in Islam to attribute evil acts to God.

20. It is forbidden in Islam to destroy the graves and shrines of Prophets and Companions.

21. Armed insurrection is forbidden in Islam for any reason other than clear disbelief by the ruler and not allowing people to pray.

22. It is forbidden in Islam to declare a caliphate without consensus from all Muslims.

23. Loyalty to one’s nation is permissible in Islam.
