Long Road

Alhamdullilah! Another semester is now finished (sort of I still don’t know if I passed the written tests). Now it’s time for me to relax and enjoy my vacation. It’s crazy how fast this semester have gone by. It was a tough road, but I learned a lot I didn’t know anything about.

As time goes by I’m learning more about myself. My strengths, my weaknesses begins to unfold, and I choose how I want to live my life. The mistakes I ‘ve done are lessons for me to grow and make me a better person. The road is long, but it will be worth it.

I wish all of you a great summer holiday! 😀

Compassion and Kindness

Terrorism is terrorism, no matter who does it. Hate crime is a hate crime no matter who does it. I cannot for the life of me understand why people can take lives of innocent people!… Do they not see a human being before anything else? My thoughts and prayers goes to those who have lost their loved ones from tragic events. You all are not forgotten, and you’ll deserve so much love.

Humanity is not lost, but we live in a time, where we don’t see each other as fellow human beings. We need to remind ourselves of what it means to be a human, because looking at this world we live in today, it’s hard to say. We need to stop letting the fear consume us. Nor should we listen to leaders or public figures who impose fear to the public. We need to be more kind towards one another, and be more compassionate. You never know the power of compassion and kindness unless you act upon these to foundations.

Free Palestine

So Israel just created an app in which the user can become a ”online soldier” and ”defend” the country on social media against people who apparently are spreading ”hate” against Israel. How more pathetic can Israel be?

As time went by, people have become more aware of the struggle the people of Palestine are going through. Those pictures, videos, voices and countless of names will never be erased from our memory. We will always and continue to remember the Palestinians who are suffering from the brutality that Israel has inflicted upon them for decades. We will continue support the Palestinians as they struggle for freedom. This so-called app will never stop us from doing it. #FreePalestine

Dear Israel

The people are waking up

Your lies are exposed

You cannot run from the truth

It will come for you

And when it does

You will end

Ramadan Mubarak

The Holy month has finally come. Now, let us do the best we can to purify our faith by coming closer to Allah. Remember to spend time with your family and friends. Remember to love one another and give charity. I wish my brothers and sisters a blessed Ramadan❤

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

لَنْ تُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى تَحَابُوا أَفَلا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا تَحَابُونَ عَلَيْهِ

You will never have faith until you love each other. Shall I tell you what will make you love each other?

They said, “Of course, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said:

أَفْشُوا السَّلامَ بَيْنِكُمْ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لا تَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى تَرَاحَمُوا

Spread peace between yourselves. By the one in whose hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you are merciful to others.

Ended 1. Semester with a smile

Just finished first semester in university. I study both biology and chemistry and it feels great to have a little holiday. It has been a great journey. I gained a lot of friends and learned a lot. When I first started studying biology and chemistry I was in a lot of doubt. It was really tough, and I would consider to give up and study something else, but O was wrong. Even though I am not the most intelligent person in the world I still enjoy what I study. I don’t think that the next semester will be easier or the next after that. However, as I gain more knowledge it becomes less burdening and more enjoyable. 🙂

What’s next?

Now it’s settled that the next president of the United States of America is Donald Trump, what can be done now?

First and foremost I should inform you that I do not live in America, but in Denmark. Can I relate to you? Yes I can. For we people here in Denmark don’t have the most fit leaders in the country. They are certainly not wise, and they also like to discriminate minorities, especially muslims. Denmark also had made headlines regarding refugees and so on.

What is my point in all of this?

We live in a time of ignorance. We live in a time full of greed and arrogance. Our leaders around the world are more concerned about themselves rather than us. Is there a way we can change that? Well, perhaps there’s an answer to our problem.

If the people are upright, then their kings will remain upright. If they turn away from righteousness, then their kings will also turn away from righteousness.

Ibn Al-Qayyim

The leaders are the reflection of the people. In other words, we need to have the qualities we want in a leader. If we want a leader, who is kind, generous, righteous, honorable and just a person of good, then we have to be that as well.

We can no longer aspect our leaders to fix the world. If we want to make the world a better place, then we have to become a better people. It will not be easy, and the progress will be slow. But at the end of the line it’ll be worth it.

There is always hope, but we have to believe in it, and we need to be the hope.

May Peace be with You

Charlie Chaplin in The Great Dictator

Greed has poisoned men’s souls

Has barricaded the world with hate

Has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed

We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in

Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want

Our knowledge has made us cynical

Our cleverness hard and unkind

We think too much, and feel too little

More than machinery, we need humanity

More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness

Without these qualities life will be violent

And all will be lost

Dear France

Muslim women are not oppressed. We cover ourselves, because we want to please our Lord. We cover because we love our Lord. Is that a crime? Forcing a woman to take off her clothes is equally oppressing when forcing a woman to cover!

What you are doing is oppression against muslim women. You can’t call yourself a Nation of Liberty, when you take away someones rights.

Although, I’m not surprised by these actions done by France, I’m still disgusted by it.
